Location: East Windsor, CT

Full Time - 40 Hours Weekly

MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH HOURS and AVAILABLE FOR ON-CALL RESPONSIBILITIES.

The Residential Manager is responsible for the overall running of the home, including staffing, and associated day programs.

This home has three (3) residents - 3 active youngmen who have occasional behaviors.

Duties include:

• Oversight, scheduling, and supervision of staff

• Promotes the development and retention of a homelike environment, including being a role model

• Oversight and direction of all planned services to residents

• Maintenance of accurate records as they relate to the operations of the house, services provided to residents, supervision of staff

• Participation in required meetings

• Assistance with on-call coverage for the home

Qualifications Include:

• H.S. diploma (or equivalent)required. BS/BA preferred;

• 3 years of experience working with intellectual/developmental disabilities required.

• Prior management responsibility, including staff supervision preferred.

• Use of a personal vehicle in order to perform assigned duties is required.

• Obtain and maintain certifications in CPR/First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration.

• Must have well-developed organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in the use of basic office equipment and computer software
